We have two exciting new launches, the Melting Balm Cleanser and Hydrating Gel Cleanser, designed to give you that ideal cleansing routine. GunkOff is here to work hard for your skin so let’s do a run down of this dynamic duo.

First step

Use Melting Balm Cleanser for that nourishing yet thorough makeup/sweat/dirt/gunk removing step. It’s our plush, oil-based formula designed to breakdown and dissolve everything sitting on the skin’s surface. Oil attracts oil – so when you melt the balm cleanser into the skin, it gets to work not only what’s on the surface but also the stubborn sebum that can build up in your pores.

How to use it?

Apply a small amount (roughly a 5-cent piece worth) to your dry or damp skin. Gently work it into the skin, just in small circular motions and focusing on areas where you have stubborn makeup or more congested skin. Make sure you add some water into the mix so that it emulsifies on the skin and then rinse off with warm water or a damp muslin cloth.

Why is it so great for my skin?

Removing makeup, pollution and grime is such a fundamental part of your skincare routine and it’s even better when done with ingredients that will help nourish the skin. Safflower and Camellia Seed oils feature, packed with vitamins and linoleic acid, to help moisturise the skin and prevent both black and white heads. We also have shea butter, vitamin E and glycerin to combat dryness and defend against the effects of environmental stressors. Removes the gunk and gives back to the skin? It’s a yes!

Second cleanse

Our Hydrating Gel Cleanser is the partner-in-grime to your Melting Balm Cleanser and the definition of ‘gentle but effective’. It helps to lift anything that may still be on the skin after your balm cleanse and kickstarts the rest of your routine by providing hydration and soothing the skin.

How to use it?

Start with a small amount, again working it into the skin in small circular motions. Make sure you work the formula all across the face, including the jawline and being careful around the eyes. Cleansing for at least 30 seconds help you get the most benefit out of the ingredients. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry before continuing with your routine.

Why is it so great for my skin?

It’s like a big drink of water that also helps to cleanse your skin. Formulated to still be gentle and non-stripping, the Hydrating Gel Cleanser has a stacked ingredients list. We have hydrating stars such as Hyaluronic Acid and Glycerin, both working to help combat dryness or tightness in the skin. There’s also Niacinamide, Aloe Vera and Cucumber to help soothe and calm, as well as reducing the impact of stress or irritation, making it suitable even for those with sensitive skin.
